I wouldn't go that far. I'd just walk in, shake his hand, and put him on the spot.
"Is there a problem we need to talk about?"
He will either cower or actually talk about it. Either way shite gets handled and solved.

OK, OP. Word of advice. Be more self-aware and recognize that YOU'RE the outsider to this family. They all have a seat at the table no matter how shitty the china is. Apologize to the sister, shake Gordon's hand and suck it up. The sooner you recognize how to play this married game the better. If you don't now, the next 4 years is going to be hell.

dude ! man up and shake a man's hand when you enter his house and pretend to be interested in what he has to say.
If he wants to make small talk about the weather, then agree and say "yes, its hot as frick" or whatever
Geez, you will have to deal with this over the course of a marriage hundreds of times.
I have a brother in law that follows high school football religiously. Now, I love football, and we are both big LSU fans. But when I am sitting at his house, he insists on discussing anything from defensive back that will be a Junior at South Beauregard High, to the 2nd string running back from like Welsh whom I have never ever remotely heard of ( I live in Houston by the way).
We are not talking about the big recruits from the state and whether or not they will go to LSU or not...we are discussing guys, in his mind, that he has seen play that should be signed by LSU or any big time program. He will break down stats of these players exhaustingly
When you have to discuss whether or not Westlake High School should have switched to a dime package against Kinder Friday night, then you tell me about sacrifice with in laws.

Future wife's response should be:
He was being himself and shouldn't have to apologize for any "slights".
As a compromise he will try to be more sociable next time. If you don't want to come, that's up to you.
And OP, shake a man's hand when he invites you into his home. JHC.

OP, please don't do this if you actually want to stay married.

You sound like an awkward guy.
People don't like it when awkward people come into their homes and sit in silence, and they really don't like it when their family members decide to settle down with awkward people.
It just means your kids are going to be awkward, and then they're going to hate your kids too. Vicious cycle, better make some changes.

Look, I'm an introvert too but I don't use it as an excuse to sit there like a turd. Force yourself say a few small talk things. Ask questions and let them do the talking.
As far as the hand shaking thing, that's pretty ticky tacky. I really don't GAF if a man shakes my hand or not when entering my home. Sounds like the sister is a bit of a bitch.

You're just young and stupid. You aren't married to this girl... Relationships come and go. Family is forever.
If you're girlfriend is stupid or insecure enough to believe her sister without any proof, there are three possibilities.
1. You are a shitty enough person that your personality gives off the vibe that you are a cheater.
2. Your girlfriend is a dumb drama queen who is always looking to stir up shite.
3. Your girlfriend is already cheating on you and looking at this accusation as a way to justify her action.
If you and your girlfriend's relationship was strong enough she would just laugh it off and tell her sister she is wrong.
How would you feel if you forced a wedge between this girl and her sister and you guys end up breaking up two months later?

Welcome to the new world order. Some old person is going to say "GODDAMN PARTICIPATION TROPHIES", but that's another symptom not the cause. People, for whatever reason, cannot handle ordinary misery anymore. I'd like to say I'm different, but I'm not. I'm working on getting better, but it's a tough road.

sister wants to frick you. go to her house "to apologize" when no one else will be there and hit her with the naked man

So more good advice.
OP, look around the room. Could be a fish on the wall - ask where she caught that lunker. Comment on her decor. Ask if lanolin is helping with the dry, cracked and slightly bleeding nipples. "How is the episiotomy healing? Did it hurt?" That kind of thing.

I think he should just get blackout drunk around them. This will allow him to relax and open up. He can also blame any stupid behavior on the alcohol.

You sound like a cuck tbh.
Considering the fact that she is much happier without her sister in her life, I would feel pretty damn good about myself.
That is what happened. You expect us three to just get along fine after that?
I don't.
As I've already said, I don't deal with people's shitty attitudes.
I'm sure the OP is pissed we are hijacking his thread...
