Prince suicide theory

So, Prince overdoses in a plane (not confirmed, but likley) where he doesn't think he will be able to be saved if discovered, but it doesn't work. He then comes home and tells an audience that he is fine and to "save their tears for a few more days" then he is found dead in an elevator which is a great place to OD if you don't want to be found till its too late......
I say his pain was getting the best of him and this was on purpose.
What says the OT?
FWIW...I am a huge fan and I don't believe we will ever see another talent like Prince in our lifetime. If he took himself out on his own terms I am good with it.

"I would die for you" is then the next song he plays?

Courtney Love did it.

Sure you're a huge fan.
And Prince was a one of a kind talent, no doubt.

Stuff I gave read claims he was never out of high heels, even at home, to make him look taller. He was 5'2". It took a toll on his hips and an ankle. He put off surgery because he was JW and didnt want a blood trqnsfusion, and was in constant pain.

Had had hip surgeries.
TMZ reports Percocets (TMZ gets everything right these days, especially big stories) made them land the plane. He got a "shot" by EMS at airport (Narcan?) and later signed out of the hospital he was brought to.
Will be an interesting but drawn out autopsy. Toxicology will take weeks to get right, and with this dude they will want it right. Privacy is out the window when dead i believe. HIPPA does not apply to dead folk.
Died like Elvis. Reclusive dude with an inner circle of yes men who made sure he stayed loaded so the party kept rolling.
I own 2 guitars but suck. If I start taking percocets will I at least be able to play rhythm?

Ok, that is ominous...on top of the hip surgeries, and pain...

"He just said, 'Save your prayers for a couple of days. I'm OK. I'm here, thank you. I appreciate it'.
Gaston, you are right....prayers, not tears, but it has the same connotation.....

Pneumonia/flu like symptoms as a result of complications of AIDS or HIV virus and his stopping of medication

So a faithful Jehovah's Witness would rule out a blood transfusion, but suicide would be OK?
Now I know why my dog doesn't like them.

I think he had HIV or AIDs. That would explain their seriousness in not releasing any info on his medical history and why a man who was in his 50s would die of Pneumonia.
Im pretty sure they said there was no sign of suicide during that conference tomorrow.

Never be able to say suicide over accidental overdose unless he left a note or took the whole bottle.

He had a 1 week old son die about a decade ago. People say he was never the same after.

quote:
The question must be asked: Why do Jehovah Witness members commit suicide at a rate far exceeding the general population? There are many contributing factors to Watchtower society suicide.
Jehovah Witness society members must devote a large portion of their life to serving the organization. Many members feel that if the society is wrong then they would prefer death to life. The massive investment must not have been in vain. After spending a long time in the organization many feel they have missed out on the things that make life interesting and special. Long time Witnesses have given up friends, family, holidays, education and a normal sex life. Facing what they have done with their lives is hard, suicide is easy. A quick pain then paradise in the cleansed world. Why not do it? If the organization is wrong, the member reason, then suicide is preferable to facing what he has done with his life. If they are picked the correct faith they will live forever on the new cleansed earth.
To a dedicated Jehovah Witness there is no heaven and no hell. There is only an upside to suicide; life in a perfect cleansed world. Witnesses see no downside to suicide. To a Withness having droughts about his faith, suicide makes perfect sense. He may reason: “If this organization is a scam I would rather be dead then live because I have already invested years of my life; if it is the true religion I will be raised from the dead and live in a perfect world”. Suicide for the long time member has a large upside but no down side.
The more I read the more sense it all makes....but Auggie, you are right. No blood transfusion, but suicide OK, kind of backwards.....

I understand he may have had pain, but he was riding his bike on Tuesday. I highly doubt he killed himself. Just don't see it.
