If you’re 28 and calling people “hippies” you’re trying too hard to seem cool.

I dont dislike him and his music is catchy, just not my taste of music. He is considered to be a very bright talent. Im not gonna knock his hustle. Theres far worse music out there.

I dont care what he calls himself, hes not a rapper. If what he does is rapping then i dont know what you call what ive listened to since the late 80s.

It is an indictment on our society that hes this popular. And its a worldwide frenzy. "Popular" music has gone to complete shite.

Sounds like you live in a pop culture bubble.

Unless you live under a rock, you can’t avoid pop culture. Which is why it’s called pop culture.

People have been saying this for centuries. It's as tired as young people ruining the world, and old people blaming young people for their own decisions they made in their upbringing. It's a tired argument. Pop music is what it has always been. Mostly forgettable with only the rare remarkable standing the test of time.

"Pop" culture is marketed to kids. Most people once they get deeper into their 20's are pretty set in the things that they like and become the target of other markets.

Post Malone is a perfect example of an “industry plant”. A true phony that has a lot of music industry money behind him.

This is what he looked like not that long ago right before his big push to the top,

Almost overnight he got all of the ridiculous tattoos at the same time, started talking with a lazy accent, and boom... he’s now all of a sudden a “unique” superstar.

Music, tv, internet, movies, print.... all transmitters of pop culture. How does one avoid it all?

He did a Hot Ones episode. The show where celebrities eat progressively hotter chicken wings. LINK

You can disagree with his look, or not like his music, but I think he comes across as a pretty likable guy.

I like his music. He is actually a really good musician.

He is also a huge fan of Mega Death & Johnny Cash.
