If you are or were in a SEAL unit, then you were on Airborne status in an Airborne unit.
All Special Ops units are on jump status.

I haven't, but my Dad was 173rd Airborne in Vietnam. Made jumps into combat. Passed away 3 years ago. Still proud of him.

Good buddy of mine used to be a SF HALO jumper out of Fort Carson. I can't remember what unit. Now he's a trainer in the private sector.
ETA: If someone is familiar with the different SF units at Fort Carson, I may recognize it.
