The rain is overstated, clear days are amazing. It's the only large city I'd consider living nearby. Possibly going down this weekend.

I think it's closer to 150 or so. Average yearly rainfall (in inches) is actually much higher in New Orleans. There are plenty of grey skies for about half the year though.
