Everyone see the link above my life log friend and his wife are trying to stuff a 26 ft uhaul and bring it back home from Dallas. Full of supplies In a effort to help people from his hometown of Denahm Springs in Livingston parish! Any one in the Dallas area who can drop off or make any donation please do! They will be coming to town later this week and we will have a staging area that is TBD.

How are they going to get there when the roads are closed? I just donated some money to Parkview Baptist since they are directly serving the ones in need.

Yeah, but you have to be on their list.

You know who else had people on a list?

Schindler, and the Nazis. Thanks for supporting the Nazis.

toiletries, draws, clothes, maybe even some things to keep the kids occupied while the parents are trying to sort things out, canned, sealed foods that don't need refrigeration, canned goods, snacks for starters

I posted a question in an earlier thread about getting things there. Our neighborhood collected items and I've been trying to figure out how to get them there. Thanks!

Any way you can have your friend email me? LSUGrrrl@gmail.com. We have questions about items & capacity. Are they bringing to shelters or churches, etc? Matters for what is appropriate to donate now as shelters are taking immediate needs only but churches are also accepting household items. Lmk. Thanks!
