Damn, that sucks to crash that close to the airport. The bridge is right where the runway begins.

most VFR flights don't file flight plans though.

There are power lines that they may have hit when they were doing final.

Damn, that's a bad place to put down a plane. There's some serious currents there.

I have heard this story before. It does check out. Sad. She was found in a wrecked out burned up house by people looking for dead bodies.

Damn southwest blows an engine out of MSY then a plane crashes into New Orleans. Not a good day.

Must have been really low on base. I know when I was on approach for the east west, I would aim for the area at UNO where the Pope spoke and when a little past it turn into final. When landing south I would aim right for bunny bread and turn above it. On that pattern there were power lines, but always way below.

The other two patterns you enter over the lake.

IDK. I hope all aboard are OK. They do a lot of flight instruction out of that airport. But probably wouldn't be doing so today.

You're right. I just double checked. She was at home when the plane landed on her house. Everyone in the house but her was killed.

I would call you full of feces, but I met a girl at LSU who said this exact thing.

It would be a weird thing to lie about. Just faulty memory of being a "survivor" of the crash and being on it. She dated my buddy/coworker a while back.

Initials MT (I think maybe MF now that she's married).

I know a girl who was a baby and on the plane

No, no ya don't.

You know OF that girl. Just as much as everyone else. If you "knew her" as if Missy was a friend, pretty sure you would know she wasn't on the plane dude.

I have a PP, but my medical isn't current. I don't own a plane, I can rent a cessna or a piper archer from the airport. Those are the only two planes I'm checked out on.
I don't even have 100 hours in seven years.

We used to hang out pretty regularly when she dated my friend.

I didn't actually even know her story until years later.
