The only really desirable areas I'd live in Texas are Austin and the hill country in general. Other than that, I never lost anything there.

Nashville, Denver, Austin, Dallas, DC, Chicago are all great placs to move if you're young

Those all sound good, ive been to all of them besides DC. Particularly liked nashville the most. Its insane coming from Baton Rouge and seeing how much there is to do in Dallas or Austin. Makes me want to leave this desk and go to uhaul right now!

Houston & Dallas is great if your goal is to make a lot of money and live for reasonably cheap

Without a plan in place it seems like a terrible idea to me.

After nursing school I plan on being a travel nurse for a couple years. Going to live all over the country for a few months at a time. Can't wait.

Best time in your life to do it. You'll either find out you really belong in some other place besides BR or you will gain a new appreciation for BR and realize it's where you are happiest and eventually move back.

If you don't you will always wonder what would have happened if you did.

You realize you need at least 2 years nursing experience before you can travel nurse?

Do it. Move as far away as you can to a place where you don't know anyone. It's a good life experience.

Seriously? Pissed at you for moving?

We have airports and interstates now, and the air is breathable. It's crazy... People actually do manage to live outside of Louisiana too.

Do it. It is absolutely worth it. You just have to be open-minded about life.

It's what I plan on doing. Of course I know that. And it's 1 year.
