Epescially the Drs who are really CPAs on this board
We aren’t like RE salesman that try and just show people only bits and pieces of things you know
quote:
“The two doses, they’re not enough for omicron,” Bourla said. “The third dose of the current vaccine is providing quite good protection against deaths, and decent protection against hospitalizations.” Bourla said omicron is a more difficult target than previous variants. Omicron, which has dozens of mutations, can evade some of the protection provided by Pfizer’s original two shots.

I will also disagree based on all the hospital data we get. Omicron evades boosters, original vaccine, and natural immunity. Even those who had delta only a few months before have walked in with another infection recently

Wtf. Incoming change to "fully vaccinated"
Already done. shite, our city was over 80% vaccinated until they added children over 5. Now people are crying over the vaccination rate again.

I had someone argue with me recently that people wearing their masks alone in their car are doing it correctly because you're supposed to put it on in the morning and not touch it again until you take it off for maximum effectiveness. As if that's what's happening out there on a daily basis.
It wasn't worth a reply.

Most CPAs are gullible thanks for proving that Dr
You will be defending 20 shots at some point

They made the vaccine to fight against the original Covid virus. I think it stopped being as impactful when Omnicron started.
And here's the kicker. If you get Omnicron, you can probably avoid an expensive hospital stay with or without hte vaccine unless you have a major underlying illness.
The problem is that neither the CDC nor the White House has any fricking idea what is really being spread. They have estimates, and they are curbing shipment of antibodies and other therapies based on those likely faulty numbers.

So reading an entire quote is gullible?
Tell us what you do for a living.

2 doses was always very short for a primary program for vaccination. The molecular design of the mRNA vaccines will always offer limited protection from infection, but should protect against lower respiratory tract sequalae.

I mean it’s a fact the vaccine based immunity wanes.
Bourla was far more honest than Biden and politcians. When politicians were running with “the vaccine will keep you from getting covid”, he said there is no data yet to support that. He was of the opinion that due to mutations of coronavirus strains he thought it would never be able to wipe out infection and would have to be treated like an annual flu shot

Ok, so I read the whole quote. It doesn’t really say or imply anything different than the OP

That's generally what we've seen clinically. Far more reinfections than the fall.
