We all have the friend who, without fail, always becomes an angry drunk.

Conversely, this person may be one of the most pleasant and hospitable people when sober, but their sever anger issues/mental issues always makes drinking with them turn out regretful before the night is over.

What does this mean?

I know a lot of you baws are pissed off because you work at plants, Obama, illegals, etc. Is this the source of all the Baw angst?

It means they can't handle their alcohol.

Would be that they have a problem with alcohol.

The OT swears by this. I am not a firm believer in this, however.

Some people are just mean drunks. Don't over think it. And don't drink with them very often.

That can certainly be the case, but

Have a couple buddies that are great guys with great lives. For some reason liquor just makes them look to pick fights, so I

don't drink with them very often.

Some people just become mean when and jerks when they drink, simple as that. I don't think it necessarily means they have some huge underlying problem in their life.

With that said, if they refuse to acknowledge that they become angry when they and continue to drink heavily and ruin everyone's good time often, then there is an issue.

Funny how different types of alcohol can affect you differently, as well. Wine makes me all pensive and mellow. Vodka makes me lash out. Tequila...all bets are off.

I used to think this. I have a couple of friends that get clinically manic when drunk. Normal other wise. So is manic their true colors?

I'm neurotic and full of anxiety / stress a lot of the time when sober. I have to force myself to not let it affect my mood.

I get happy as frick when I get drunk.

They say whatever is going on in your life is exacerbated when you do "drugs". It's not necessarily their personality, just where they might be in their life. Angry, sad, happy, distraught.

Yes. The underlying issue is the overwhelming hypocrisy of the government, corporations, and alcohol advocates who perpetuate such lies about their drug and the dull citizenry who is unable to obtain any sort of enlightenment on the matter.

The consequences of excessive alcohol consumption are far worse than smoking marijuana.

quote:

Pot is a better drug than alcohol. Fact! … I’ll prove it to you. If you’re at a ball game or a concert and someone’s really violent and aggressive and obnoxious, are they drunk or are they smoking pot? [The crowd answers “Drunk.”] Wow! We all know the truth. - Bill Hicks

Agreed, but wow, you sound like an angry pot smoker. And for the record, not all people are mellow on weed. Some people trip like they are on LSD, and are definitely not capable of daily functions. Anything that alters you is a drug and I agree that alcohol is by far the most accessible one. And dangerous, if abused. But let's not pretend pot is safe. But I agree, if alcohol is legal, legalize weed as well.

I'm one of those baws that gets irritated when drinking. That's why I rarely drink. Frequently after drinking I'll have trouble sleeping long into the night just being pissed off. In the morning when I wake up I kinda amused at myself thing about what trivial thing I got so upset about that I couldn't sleep. As said, I rarely drink now and I'm fine with that.

Although I definitely have underlying issues. Not sure if that's what leads to being pissed after drinking though.

I have never smoked pot. Not one frickin' time.

I'm not, but let's not pretend that it makes you as volatile and aggressive as alcohol either.

It's bull shite. A distorted version of you shows when you are drunk. It is totally ridiculous on the face of it to think that an impaired you that can't think ideas through to their full capacity is the true you.
