Hone your skills, son. Then come back and try again if you have time between speed & agility training and batting practice.

you serious with this shite?

My girl is almost 4 and I still refuse to sign her up for that waste of time. I'm introducing her to basics like throwing or whatnot, but this is just ridiculous.

This reminds me of Peyton Manning in some of the Manning home movies. He took shite so seriously.

What is ridiculous about it? It may be early but you guys act like he's trying to train her to be a serious athlete. The girl wants to play, why shouldn't she? It's not like there will be anything resembling baseball going on but she will be outside, not wasting her summer inside.

Except Archie didn't allow them to play organized tackle football until, I think, 6th Grade.

You mean the 2-3 evenings a week she has practice and games? Or do they now have T ball camp for toddlers?

I just bought my 17 month old spikes. I dare you to have your little Johnny block 3rd base when my kid runs there instead of first when he hits the ball!

Thanks, the sad thing is, I am about 3 years removed from that age group, but would have never questioned a parent who was obviously trying to be, well, a good parent.

I feel like a jerk for saying it, but the generation gap started basically, right after my 2nd birthday. Anyone under 25 (that is not a parent) has no idea what it is to show respect to anyone. I don't need their respect, but I bet their moms and dads do.

Now that's funny! My daughter will just hit him with the rock she has been playing with for the last 1/2 inning...

Because they're attention span is so minute right now, there's no way those kids are interested in being out there for an hour.

My kid barely wants to play for 15 minutes. If that.

Exactly. What's the point? When you can do that at home. Or at a park? They don't know what baseball is right now or can comprehend it.

sure, people can do what they want and I'm not judging. Just my opinion. It's a waste of time at this age.

I'm 35 and have two toddlers. 3 year old girl (4 in May), and a 16 month old son.

Definitely sounds like that's not a waste of time.

You assume way to much, and you also take the Internet way too seriously.
