I only ever learned to slide at camps. Got some pretty good raspberries the few times I tried to slide in shorts.

Yeah, the crushed brick is good about not getting muddy and not washing out. but it can be hell on pants.

My advice:

Get her one of these Jugs Combination machines, I think you can get a good deal on one for around $2,000 or so.



Start at 10mph, each month add 10 mph. By 4 or 5 she will be dropping bombs like Barry.

I read none of the thread only your updated post. I have 2 girls myself and had the oldest one playing tball last year. She sucked. Everybody sucked. They had a fricking blast though and I did too watching them have fun. You're doing it right, don't worry about what any of these other frickers say

Ps...I also dressed up and danced in her dance recital and enjoyed it as much as she did
