I'll be praying for you and congratulations on beating that dreaded disease. I lost my bestest friend in the world to pancreatic cancer in 2009. She was at stage 4 when diagnosed and lived from January to June.

Will, wasn't your Dad battling cancer too? If not I have you confused with another poster and I apologise. I hope I am wrong!

As a former whipple patient, this is great news! Hang in there, it will continue to get better.

Strong arse baw right here boys!
Thank you for the words of encouragement, as stated by other posters I am a she.
But while on the subject where did this irritating, stupid (IMO) saying originate? I read in one post the Eunice/Crowley area. I live in Crowley and never heard this saying except on this board. So, then I thought maybe an offshore thing, so I called my husband (been working offshore for 30+ years) baw. He looked at me as if I had lost my mind - said he had never heard of it, either.
Not directing this question to you 50, just anyone who can answer my question.

Ksay, how long before you started feeling 'normal'? I want to be hungry again! Any long term effects I should be aware of?

Yeah, dumb word but they seem to like it. I live in Virginia. Never hear that word used up here, thats for sure.
