Some health groups are more into research and clinical trials which is great for some types of cancer. Those type groups never would talk about the Whipple surgery as a option, it was actually very depressing.
I am not trying to be vague I just don't want anyone to think I am speaking ill of any hospital.

I don't post much here (usually just read), but I'd like to addo this.
My grandmother had the Whipple before I was born and I'm in my early forties. She passed away 5 years ago well up in years and it's wasn't due to cancer, just her time. You got this and I'm praying.

That is very heartning to hear, JCrew. 40 years ago most Whipple surgeries were not successful and think how far both the chemo and surgery must have advanced since then.

My grandfather was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and dead in less than two months. Keep up the good fight!
