Okay, doing The Challenge and X2 Total Body on the same day might have been a bad idea.

Incinerator and Isometrix tonight.

First time to do incinerator. We'll see how it goes.

I need a better set of dumbbells. Mine take too long to change weights between sets, so I usually stick with whatever is on there. Duing P90X it wasn't a problem since it was longer. X3, I feel more rushed and no time to fidget with weights.

And I'm too cheap/no space to buy a full set.

Love both workouts. Isometrix is the best, imo.

I have those all-in-one dumbells and it can be tough to change out in between workouts. I keep a traditional set of 10, 20, and 30's so I can use those if I feel like it.

I did the X3 Yoga last night because I didn't wake up in time yesterday morning. That shite was difficult with a 3 year old jumping on my back and hanging on my legs like it was some game. It was funny watching my 5 year old trying to do the workout with me though. I'll have to stick to doing it in the morning so they don't get in my way.

Did the challenge this morning. My numbers are pitiful and need to get better but that is a great upper body workout.

What were your numbers on The Challenge? This is a safezone, bro.

I have a love/hate relationship with The Challenge. I love feeling like the fricking Hulk after completing it...I hate doing it

If you can find a pullup assist band, get it. Those things are awesome.

This.

I didn't like the idea at first. My wife bought one. I was good using a chair. Now, that thing is great. The chair sucks in comparison.

Yeah, chairs don't allow you to use proper form. Also, the chair can slip away and increase your chance of injury.

My numbers were 5 pullups and 10 pushups and I was using a chair for the pullups. I'm gonna try to get the pullup assist band soon. I probably could have done 15 on the pushups but I wanted to start slow since it was my first time. At 230 lbs pull ups are a bitch especially with my history of shoulder problems.

ETA: my pull up bar is about even with my head when I'm standing up. If I'm using a pullup assist band would I stick my knee in it? Or will it work if I just bend my knees? Everything I've seen is people's legs are straight when using those things but I'm tall and my door frame isn't tall enough for me to do that.

You should be okay. You will find it easy to adjust it even with your foot. You won't have to put your knee in it. Just mess with it.

I have the same issue with the pull-up assist. I've tried to find a way to get my knee in it instead of my foot, but the one I'm using doesn't have a strap opening big enough for that. It can honestly be a bit of a pain in the arse but I make it work.

Oh man. X2 is as tough as I remember. What a great routine.

Last night I had a personal best of 8 Renegade Row Full Lolasanas.
