Oh. It must be your first time.

The Challenge is pushups and pullups. First the pullups, then the pushups. So, you have to pick a number for each.

Wide grip pullups/standard pushups (2 sets)

Chin ups/military pushups (2 sets)

Close grip pullups/wide pushups (2 sets)

Vaulter pullups/staggered pushups (2 sets)

So, you need to pick a number for your pullups and pushups.

My pullup number for this exercise is 16, pushup number is 30.

I take them. I think they're beneficial but knows if it's just a placebo effect.

I don't really have a way to do pull ups in my apartment so I use bands. I try to hit at least 20 reps of every move (or that's what I did with x1) but I'm sure this workout will test that goal. Once I am able to hit that I will move up from there.

Thanks. My wife and I like to run but don't have that option with the short days we're having so we have been trying to find something to do during the winter months to stay in shape. Hopefully this sticks because the results I've seen online are amazing.

Applause. That's an aggressive workout.

Yea it's a modified crossfit exercise I started doing on Sunday for a couple weeks now. Added it to see how it worked, like it so far.

Now I'm working up to what it should be which is run a mile, 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, and 300 air squats, then run another mile. As you can see I modified it to do 2 miles instead of one and I added the abs routine as well. Takes me about an hour to finish it as I've got it set up now.

Yes
They're awesome
Not essential. But they help maximize the protein you take it.

The workouts are legit, some more than others.

I found a P90X/X2/X3 hybrid schedule I'm going to try.

The murph is an arse kicker

but you shouldn't be doing it more than once a week

It's not just a placebo effect. Your body makes amino acids that are essential in protein breakdown and muscle growth. Any additional amino acids you take in help this.

I'm doing Arms/Lower Abs or Arms/Shoulders/Lower Abs. I rest tomorrow. Adjust diet? Heck no! Eating keeps the metabolism going.

You competing this year? What bodybuilding class are you? I'm thinking of competing in the men's physique division soon.

Probiotic might be better for this purpose in my opinion.
