All those special forces guys who look..... completely average? It's not fitness that makes them who they are.
My diet and training has been fricked for the past few months but I'm working my way back protein bar and an energy drink for the breakfast. 2 mcchickens for lunch?

I have a friend flying in and I didn't wake up in time to work out before work, so I'll probably get some running and jump roping in before she gets here.

Lol...average? I'd love to look like that.
I'm not trying to look like a mini-arnold with muscles rippings out of my shirt, I just wanna look good nekkid.

I think he's talking about Green Berets but even alot of the guys I know who are Green Berets don't look average.
But Rangers, PJ's, CCT, MARSOC, Seals etc don't look average.

I worked with SEALs and while there are some who look like beasts there are some that you'd never expect to be killing machines. I knew one that was probably 5'6" and about 140lbs... didn't look like much but I was fricking around with him one day and ended up in some choke hold with a finger in my eye socket screaming like a little girl.
Fitness is a big part of that culture but I'd say the most important difference between them and the average Joe is mentality. They don't have that little voice inside their head that tells them when to quit.

I did my laundry next to a bar that as it turns out was a seal bar, we had them on the ship, we got brutalized by them in boot camp if we fricked up
they are mostly super bulky...occasionally I saw "thin" seals, but they still had muscles

Run 6 miles and do abs today. Protien shake, granola, and half a banana for breakfast.
My workout routine for about a month now has been:
Monday: legs/shoulders
Tuesday: run 6 miles/abs
Wednesday: back/bis
Thursday: run 6 miles/abs
Friday: chest/tris
Saturday: rest
Sunday: run 2 miles / do 50 pull ups, 100 pushups, 150 air squats / run 2 more miles / then do abs
Like the results I've seen

What do you mean by my numbers?
ETA: I try to keep up with what the folks on the screen are doing. I try to hit at least 20 reps of each move before they move to the next one.
I just started x3 this week.

Back and biceps for me.
Anybody here take BCAAs? What are you're thoughts on them? Are they essential? I currently take a multivitamin, creatine and whey.

Well, I can just say I'm not reliable enough to start it up every day. Some other people will need to chip in if we want to keep it going.
