Just getting my body acclimated right now. Been going for about a month and I've gotten to the point where I'm not miserably sore the next day, thinking I'm gonna go with 5-3-1

Unless there's a better alternative you can fill me in on

Nah. It sounds like you know what you're doing. I don't have a gym membership so I just do Beachbody routines.

I wish I could do more heavy lifting, though.

Got in on one for 19.99 a month, seemed reasonable. I spend 20 bucks a month on shite I don't need every month, so why not spend 20 on something I do? That was my logic.

I would join a gym if it were a freeweight gym. I'm not into the whole machine thing. Squat rack, bench press, deadlifts, pullups, dumbells. You know, an Arnold gym. I don't even think those exist anymore.

Any gym worth a shite has the free weights and machines separated in different areas. Old schools Golds gym for sure.

Yea this one has both, much more machines than free weights though outside of Dumbbells and curl bars.

I used to be totally against all supplements. Just eat right and ur golden. After working out hard for a few years straight I had a plateau that i couldnt break through. I decided to try some creatine and did some research. I tried Allmax and honestly i was surprised how well it worked. I wasnt very lean but i got really full and always felt strong in the gym while taking it. I go three months on and two off now. Its cheap too...amazon.

You sound like an ignorant tard, but then again you are a crossfitter. As Mouton stated, creatine produces result. It isn't a short cut to anything, and it's hardly a waste of money for people who actually lift.

This is so rich

I stopped crossfit pretty much got bored with it. Focused more on Olympic lifting and went back to more of body building routine. Might do crossfit once a week if that.

Dude. Go look at an LA Fitness or, shite, a YMCA. They'll have free weights. Even Anytime Fitness places will have free weights with full cages, flat, incline and decline benches, and really anything else you could want. I actually like some of the machines like the free motion ones because they make it easier to do things like flyes.

Change of plans?

If you're not opposed to pre-workouts, pick up a PWO that has creatine. Or, just buy creatine mono and mix it with your shakes...it's really cheap...but it's going to mess with your stomach. I had to stop using it for a little while and now only get it via C4 PWO.

I used C4 PWO, iForce Compete! inta-workout and Optimum whey...also take a multi and fish oil.

If I'm not mistaken, it takes about a month just for creatine monohydrate to settle into the muscle and for you to begin to see much of a result. As someone else said, it's the loading phase. So if you only used it for a month, then switched to another creatine type, your muscles were already saturated and the type probably didn't matter at that point. Not sure that's how it went down, but it's something to consider. I'm just using ON creatine monohydrate. I'm getting bigger, but nothing that will make you do a double take. My wife is pretty much the only one that's noticed and she hates it.

Loading is a myth, your body cannot absorb more than like 5g a day so basically you should be taking 5g a day.

Creatine loading is a myth along with more creatine myths.

Creatine is useful for water retention in the muscles, helping with endurance some, and pushing out a few more reps but it's not the end all be all.

I get far far more benefit from a solid preworkout supplement than I do from creatine alone. If you don't like your entire body tingling and feeling like you're going to burst with energy then it's not for you. I love it, but lots of people don't.
