re: Supergirl Season One Thread - Vander
Superman/Wonder Woman has plenty of precedent in the comics as well. See all of the Elseworlds where it happened (Kingdom Come, Red Son, etc.) along with New 52 where there was an on-going Superman/Wonder Woman comic that explored the relationship. I would love to see this play out on screen s...

re: Unofficial NCAAT Thread - Vander
Solid defense from Kentucky though. Stony Brook getting crushed on rebounds and getting no good looks at all. Now resorting to just throwing up prayers....

You guys are currently making LSU look competent at scoring. Halftime score prediction? 16-14....

re: Any OT married men get hall passes from the wife/SO? - Vander
Why is it trashy if a couple wants to spice up their sex lives? You know damn well you would use a hall pass if your wife gave you one
No, I would not do this, rather I would go straight to a divorce lawyer and initiate proceedings. Women who give permission like this ALWAYS have...

re: Here is what is strange to me about the Mizzou thing and this board - Vander
All you guys wishing bad for Mizzou and calling them pussies for giving in are kind of stupid. This is a business, a multi-million dollar business and is ran like one. Every other school in the SEC wouldn't have been in this situation because the presidents would have jumped out so far ahead ...

re: I just got banned from reddit.com/r/cfb - Vander
Like most of Reddit, r/cfb is full of a bunch of eunuchs who have never played a sport in their lives and are mostly male feminists. Wrongthink is heavily moderated and removed. This should surprise no one....

re: Dak Prescott -- would you take him over your QB right now? - Vander
A&M wins the natty this year with Dak
No we don't, not with Spavital as our OC. In fact I would go so far as to predict that our offense would be just as bad because Spavital would be calling the same shitty plays no matter who the QB is. No QB can turn pure shite into gold, not e...

re: Saban: A&M has classy fans, it's the first road game that we didn't get booed - Vander
Confirmation bias. That is always your goal, so any reaction will be spun in your head to be what you want it to be. Aggy is a downvoting machine in this thread, though. Apparently yall take your contrived politeness very seriously.
Sure we do, why would we not? Football is ju...

re: Perspective: Ole Miss / bama / aTm - Vander
two of the three pick sixes were VERY ba throws. Not sure that the defense caused those. One was a good catch by the Bama player. Eh, teams don't overcome 4+ turnovers and win. The turnovers happened and you just have to roll with it.
We've done it before with Ole Miss ...
It doesn't help when you have an average to below average runnin back Tra Carson is not good
True, but also consider that Arky only had 44 yards rushing and their OL is damn good at run blocking....

re: SECW Def Stats - Vander
Bamas defense is insane
Your front 7 is the best it's been since we have been in the SEC. No one can run the ball on you guys, which in turn allows you to play 2 high safeties against passing teams. Trying to run on y'all is like is basically :banghead: in football form....

re: August 8 article: "This Florida QB has put on an insane amount of weight" - Vander
LOL at anyone who thinks steroids aren't rampant in collegiate sports. Anyone who thinks these guys just casually gain 15 to 20 lbs of muscle in an off-season without gear is delusional. At best a fit human, will gain 1-1.5 lbs of muscle a month if they have a perfect diet and workout routine. It...

re: Has anyone been more dominant, more respected, more known in sports than Jordan? - Vander
Unlike many of the modern players, Jordan played fantastic defense. He's top 10 all-time in many of the defensive statistics and was actually voted as Defensive Player of the Year once. He led the league in steals 3 times. He was a prolific scorer yes, but he was also one of the greatest defe...

re: Bama favored by 16 over the Hogs - Vander
Too high. Arkansas always plays everyone close because that playstyle allows them to do it. They can move the ball on anyone and limit the number of plays the other team runs. So regardless of who wins, the game will be close. Even though Bert is terrible in close games, they have played in a to...

re: Examining 3rd and Chavis: Week 5 - Vander
No it was when the defense was allowing large gains by the opposing offense in crucial spots against top opponents
Perhaps if you had an offense that would score more than 20 points a game, this wouldn't be an issue. A DC cannot coach a perfect game every single time. With no off...

re: Any Married, Separated, Engaged or Single Males Here? An Important Tip... - Vander
The main problem a lot of men make during divorce is that they still see their future ex wives as the women that they married. The reality is that the women who initiated the divorce are not even remotely close to that person and in fact usually take on an entirely different personality. Basic...

re: Japanese Porn Industry Hit By Shortage of Men; 70 male actors to 10,000 women - Vander
Yep. They don't want any dirty gaijin touching their women. They would rather have nothing but lesbian porn than have a male gaijin be in one of their porn movies. Xenophobia is the norm in Japan....

re: SEC Players of the Week: Week 1 - Vander
Hall was actually double teamed only one less play than Garrett was doubled. The fact is both were dominate and could not really be blocked one on one. This is what freed up Wilson to get multiple sacks and killed their run game....
