Talking shite how? If he's saying something that damages you or a family member's reputation in the community there is a civil claim that can be made. If he's threatening violence there is potential for both civil and criminal claims.

Just delete your facebook account. I deleated mine two years ago. By joining facebook, you subject yourself to all kinds of defemation. I don't belong to any social media sites and I'll never will join one. People on those sites can call you every name in the book, and it will be your word against theirs. You can't sue anyone who threatens, bullies, slanders you on a social website. By joining that site, you're allowing your self to be harassed.
