Well the low fat ranch (since it is low in fat) will stay in the body and become weirdly enough, fat on your body. The regular ranch however will move through your body because fat is hydrophobic.

I always use plain yellow mustard.
I have had several waiters/waitresses tell me they tried it and love it.
If you don't like mustard I guess it would wrk for you.

I like 3 to 1 on the vinegar to oil. Add some minced shallot and herb of your choice.

The mustard either coarse grain or Dijon is key for the emulsion to be correct.
