I know a few that are the same way. Of course they also like to get boozed up and drive home ¯\_(?)_/¯

I hope they do. I'd rather potheads who break the law pay their salaries as opposed to my tax dollars.

Why stop there? Hey police officers, do y'all care if I carry just a little bit of PCP or date rape roofies? Drugs are drugs and good cops do their best to keep them off the streets.

It's people like you that ruin America, son. You need to straighten up your act. If you weren't doing anything wrong, law enforcement agents would have had no need to stop you.

All good cops understand that if you have a small amount, its just for chilling on Sundays. Not to traffic the drug and cause problems with it.

Cops serve a valuable purpose, but that doesnt change the fact that most are unskilled grunts with a inferiority complex.

I was riding with my sister a few months back, coming home from getting a pizza, and we were pulled over on Burbank. Cop says he saw my sister (the driver) drinking a beer- turned out to be a can of sprite zero). Not willing to admit to himself he's an idiot, the cop tells us he thinks we have weed in the car, makes us get out, performs 2 grope-searches on each of us and then proceeds to throw every single item in the car out searching for a smidge of plant matter. Calls for backup and 3 more cruisers show up, all of them rifling through her stuff, throwing her shite out on the side of the road. All this while we are sitting in the back of seperate cruisers like criminals, bear in mind neither of us had done anything wrong whatsoever. An hour and 15 minutes later (she had a very messy car) we started picking up her stuff offf the side of the road (while they watched, we were told if we left any of it out there they'd hit us with a littering charge) we were on our way with a cold pizza, having been adequately protected and served.

I truly hope this is a bs story

Why did you let them search the car?

You should have made them get a warrant.

Because its a story he heard about/saw in a movie...You can't be cool in the cop bashing thread unless you have THE story..

Yeah, can we get the police to do an internal investigation and ask the officer if this happened? If he says no, then clear him of all wrong doing.

Why does the necessity of the police automatically make them skilled?

If I were driving I definitely would have been less inclined allow it, but my sister was driving and it was her car and she folds like a lawn chair under pressure. She was acting all nervous, which probably didn't help the situation.

Pot and the smell of it, gives officers probable cause to conduct searches for more important things.

Granted, some of them are not as educated as others, but saying they are unskilled is a little much..I'm interested in what you're so "skilled" at

One of 3 possibilities would have to be present for your story to be true:

1) You would have had to consent to a search like that based on the situation you described
2) You're leaving some details out that would've given rise to probable cause.
3) You are a minority

Which one is it?
