Hope everyone's having a great week. This will be my last airfare thread until after the 4th of July, headed up to Quebec City for the next week. If anyone has recommendations for up there, please share as I've never been before. As always if you have requests for specific places just let me know and I can attempt to help.

New Orleans to:

Denver: $138 on Frontier (late Aug, all of Sept, and early Oct). $174 on American, $201 on United or Southwest.

Washington DC: $157 on US Airways or Southwest, $164 on United to Dulles, $184 on Delta. Dates of late Aug through early December (excluding Thanksgiving).

Fort Lauderdale: $152 on Southwest, $168 on US Airways or United. Late Aug through early December (excluding thanksgiving)

Las Vegas: $232 on American late August through mid-end of October. Southwest at $326

Atlanta: $78 on Frontier, late August through middle of October. Delta at $183.

Enjoy

How many days did you want to go again? Gulfport is still > $350 for a roundtrip.

I'm finding United at $180 for Wed July 22 to Sat July 25
Southwest is at $172 for Wed July 22 to Tues July 28. Some other days around there are $10 more expensive for coming back monday.

The cheapest is $360 for BTR-DFW. I'm no OT baller but that's a bit steep, I'd drive for that price.

I remember seeing some really cheap fares from MSY or BTR to Boston last year, but I think that was in late fall or winter. It's at $280 right now in the fall, think I was seeing $180 last year. I'll keep an eye out

What's the particulars for the flights to Vegas? We can leave from either New Orleans or Baton Rouge. We will be going the first week of September.

Much more reasonable. Unfortunately i would have to fly in Friday and leave Sunday, the two worst days price-wise to travel. July 17-19

It's $348 from Baton Rouge, I'm seeing as low as $232 from New Orleans. Particulars: Can book as either two one way tickets or a roundtrip. Roundtrip is $232 Wed Sept 2- Wed Sept 9th. Did you have specific dates?

A one way on Tues Sept 1 or Wed Sept 2nd is $116 on American, connection in Dallas. The problem if you want to leave thurs or Fri is that it's a holiday weekend so the price jumps up to $188 on Southwest or $196 on Delta.

Returning I found one-ways for $146 on Sunday Sept 6th, $156 on Tuesday Sept 8th, or $116 on Wednesday Sept 9th.

How exactly do you find these fares? Are you just searching through one of the usual websites?

Yeah I'd probably wait for the fall at this point . Could do $175 one way on Delta down here on the 17th in the morning.

ETA: I'm an idiot and was looking at the 20th for the return. $227 one way back on Southwest so $402 total...

Google flights and southwest's website are my usual go to's. It's pretty easy to use the calendar feature on google flights and see when the cheapest dates are. Sometimes I'll click on a date and an even cheaper price will pop up for a return date.

Is that how much they pay people to go to Atlanta? Not enough to get me to visit that shite hole.

Doesn't Frontier charge for carry-on bags?
