We are in the process of researching infant daycare centers. I have found some very helpful information here and via other resources. I was hoping someone here might have some input on the O'Neal KinderCare center. Would love to hear any opinions or experiences you may have had or heard about. TIA!

No church options?

Yes, we are looking at all of the options including schools. Many places won't take infants at 6 weeks. Also, almost everywhere I have talked to has a wait list, one told me up to 3 freaking years. So, we have started looking at options outside of churches/schools.

My son went to that one for 3 years

We didn't have any issues that I can recall but I don't have a ton of experience to compare it to other daycares

St Andrews in Shenandoah is great.

Kindercare was good when I was a kid, but that was like 30 years ago so things may have changed

I think he's looking someone to watch his infant for 9+ hours a day while he and the wife are at work.

St Andrew's is an amazing school, but is only open 9:30-1:00.

I'm not sure why you're rolling your eyes, but I appreciate that you provided St. Andrews' hours of operation for me. And yes, I do work full-time, as does my husband.

This is a bump for the night time crew since I'm curious as well. Thanks!

Well hello there...

For a really young one you may want to look into in home babysitters. Some are reasonably priced and a decent option until your child is old enough to get into a program.

My granddaughter went to that Kindercare as an infant, 2005 to about 2007. No problems.

How old is your child? Some teachers there are better than others. My son has been there for a good while now. The price always seems to go up every time he gets older. Right after the price drop netting no savjngs as he gets older. There is only one teacher I didn't like. It's not cheap that's for sure and I'm sure many people there get gov assistance to pay the bill. But the people there care about the kids which is why I allowed my son to go there. The infant room there is large which is nice.

Obviously not the same daycare, but kindercare is a franchise. We pulled our son out of the one he was going to in Houston. It was the knly one near us with an opening at first, but it just felt a little unorganized and crappy. Wife then heard some very bad things at work. Luckily one of our waitlisted places had a spot at the same time and we moved him. It is a much nicer place that runs a much tighter ship.
