Yea, the folks who are opposed to quality.

I always hit up ebay for mine. As long as it's gold tipped and like extra thick I know it's good. I never had a problem or complaint from the ones I got. Always around $5 dollars. Great quality too.

Monoprice is more than fine, especially for HDMI. It's either going to work or not going to work with HDMI and Monoprices work. Bluejean, I am sure is fine as well. They definitely tried to write a shite ton to try and convince you. I build my own network cables, so I don't really give a shite how they try to sell that shite to me.

I have a bunch of Monoprice HDMI cables ranging from 3' to 15' and all have worked flawlessly for over six years. That's true for the DVI, optical, and other stuff I've bought from them. For reality-based people, the quality is fine. For people who (think they) use cables as tone controls, replace wall outlets with cryogenically treated ones, find huge differences between $100 and $500 power cords, etc, well, they're nuts.

They sell cheap Chinese cables as well, they just describe the uses and differences so you'll know what you are buying.

That's specifically not what bluejeanscable is. I have friends who buy Cardas clear cables and dedicated power supplies and their shite sounds insanely good. I can't afford all that shite though. Bluejeans is mostly Belden cables just custom length and terminations.

Unless it's similarly priced, then that's fine. For short run basic consumer TV. Monoprice is more than capable in terms of quality.
Doesn't really matter if a guy in USA or china puts it together it can still be faulty even with factory acceptance testing. In my years of going to see FATs, some guy in the USA doesn't really give me much faith over a guy overseas.

I have a fricking tube TV, so no.
This kind of shite deserves quality cables though (not mine).
This poor arse shite is what I have.

Bluejeancables get all my stuff through them and it's fantastic.

I had a cable made for the AUX input in my wife's 5 series. The input is in the back of the center console and my son's always back there, so I had them put a flat 3.5 mm jack on it. I used a string to measure and got it made mothereffin perfect.

For something as simple as a 3.5, I would just go buy the parts and do it myself.

I could do it, it just wouldn't look as professional and at home in a nice BMW. This was the 3-4th cable since my son kept kicking the jack and destroying the plugs. This fixed it.

Should have read bluejeanscable...I think it just depends on the length and flexibility required.

I take pride in my cable making abilities, well unless it's a 161kV oil filled cable, then I just get some Swiss guys to come take care of that for me.

That's three times as expensive as bluejeanscable, you're wasting your money!

no its not. you can get the latest HDMI for $3 at monoprice.
the redmere line is the super thin hdmi cable which is great for use in your car or something (like for my appradio)
