The first permanent colony. Setting the seed for what would later be a grand colony and later the greatest country on the face of the earth.

Everything we have now and that we are.
It's not a day of remembrance or a day that rings any bells. Though it is a very important day in our history none the less.

St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied settlement established in the continental United States. Founded in 1565.

St. Augustine was a Spanish colony, thus eliminating its relevance to this thread concerning the future USA.
