Beau James and troys. Also, used to be one by Sammy's highland (in the mall) and one on bocage- inside behind deermans

Luther's Barber Shop in Bocage Shopping Center. I've been going there since 1981!

I got an old school shave there and it was awesome.

The old school barber shop is popular again. Anyone know why? Is it a hipster thing now?

Is that Jimmy B. that had a shop in Corporate Mall back in the day?

Not many (zero) hipsters at Troys.

Cause they're the only people who know how to do a high and tight correctly

Quite a few law-enforcement types go there for their buzz cuts.

Surprised to see no one has mentioned Robert's Barber Shop on Lee.

Got plenty of them in LP. I go to Max's in Albany

It's jimmy fontenot, and yes, he was in the mall/ 20 ish yrs ago. He still works, but his daughter-in-law is now the busier of the 2.

I told my nephew who is graduating this year that he should go to Barber School and open up an old school shop in our home town.

Robert's on Lee Dr. is the best haircut in Baton Rouge....

Ok the corner of college and Perkins behind the subway I used to go to Beau James barber and he would give me an old school haircut and tell me racist and dirty jokes the entire time. That's probably what you're looking for but I think his niece may have taken over when he got sick.

Troy's is the master of the police/military high and tight. I wouldn't recommend them if you want something else.
