I sent this picture to two of my siblings and they both were amazed how much I look like one of those dudes.

The Nazi ceremony looks like a Satanic ritual. Go figure.

What does iron clad mean before I google?
Is it basically the wooden ship era with protection from projectiles by putting metal over the wooden haul?

The "B-29 Superfortress Bomb Bay" pic is interesting to me. Above the racks of bombs and the airman, is a cylindrical tube about 30" in diameter. The B-29 was the first pressurized bomber in the US fleet, and that tube is how crew members moved between the flight deck the and rear areas of the fuselage. My dad said it was a great place to take a nap on long flights over the Pacific!

They understood the dramatic and how to set the mood. Their symbolism and pageantry appealed to emotions without a word being spoken.

This was the German version of BUGA. WTF?!! Truly an amazing miracle that we defeated that sick SOB under the circumstances that we did.

I always remember this one:
Liberty ship Rowan hit by German bomber during the invasion of scicily. A town I grew up (but didn't live in) in made Liberty ships and I was talking with a guy who was around for that and he said the sky never got dark at night because the fires were so intense.
I used to have a old Time Life book that had some great but disturbing WW2 pictures.
Also,!im not sure if this is allowed or not but it's a famous photograph:
The moment a man gets hit during the Spanish Civil War

Hmmmmmm, Bill Clinton meets JFK and he's murdered later that same year.
Funny how times don't change as much as they seem.
