Hmmmmmm, Bill Clinton meets JFK and he's murdered later that same year.
Funny how times don't change as much as they seem.

That's the British Long Range Desert Group. They worked with SAS sometimes but were not part of the SAS. In fact, most of them came as volunteers from the 2nd New Zealand Division.

Darth, was this the Rat Patrol?

The "B-29 Superfortress Bomb Bay" pic is interesting to me. Above the racks of bombs and the airman, is a cylindrical tube about 30" in diameter. The B-29 was the first pressurized bomber in the US fleet, and that tube is how crew members moved between the flight deck the and rear areas of the fuselage. My dad said it was a great place to take a nap on long flights over the Pacific!

My Grandfather was a bombardier on a B-29

This is the one photo you could question. She appears to have leg muscles? Looks like a modern body.

Those dirty hippy feet though????

My grandparents moved to Michigan during the war, my grandmother worked at the factory where they cranked out B-24s.

There are Youtube videos of some of these candlelight Nazi rallies.

As others have said, the Nazis were masters of pageantry and theatre as propaganda.

Absolutely mesmerizing to watch.

The color photo posted by Roger the Shrubber I believe is of an SS memorial ceremony for fallen "heroes" of the Reich.
