The 80s were the best time to be a kid. We were still "innocent" as a society in many ways.

Awesome music, cartoons, movies. Just a fun decade to live through.

It really was. I was really young in the 70's but it was a turbulent time, from what I remember. That all changed in the 80's. I hate to get political, but I think Reagan the last great President that we've had.

Yep. Jason and Freddy were cultural icons in the 80's. I can't think of an equivalent after.

My dad is a horror buff so we were allowed to watch those growing up. We just had to cover our eyes when they showed boobies

My dad had a hockey mask and would hide while me and my brother would watch Friday the 13th and pop out and scare us at different times. Fun times.

Awesome!

The singer for Genesis, or whatever you call that band, sounds like Phil Collins.

I know, Dear.

Without looking it up and going by memory, I think Genesis became Mike and the Mechanics after Phil went solo.

"we've got bush"

Todays generation would not understand this. And when you saw it on the big screen it was glorious.

I don't think so. I know they were sold by jello and Bill Cosby was in the commercials.
