I miss the cereal from the 80's. Every movie or TV show had cereal. There was a comics cereal that you could read the box while eating, and Batman cereal.

I remember begging for GI Joe cereal("I swear I'll clean my room every day ). Still the nastiest cereal I've ever had.

On Demand and Netflix have killed that magic morning. You waited all week and woke up early to binge for six hours.

"People are sick of the 80s"

Speak for yourself, I had just turned 5 when the decade started and it was an awesome decade to be a kid. Maybe it sucked if I were older but to me it had the perfect mix of old school activities and just enough emerging technology (video games, etc) to give kids non traditional options. The music while a bit cheesy at times was a million times better than the utter crap produced since 2000. Music wasn't at the legendary awesome level it was from the early 60s to mid 70s but it was SOOO much better then than it is now.

I'll never understand why the 80s catches the crap it does from some. At least for a little kid, it was an incredible decade to grow up in.

The bill was only a bill and it made him sad. I was happy for him when he became a law.

I loved the 80's.

Music videos, best movies, and the cold war. Man it was the best. Never knew when the Russians were gonna drop a nuke on us

Do you represent the People? My kids are in their teens and they love the music and the cheesy teen movies.

It was a great decade. MTV was actually music television, imagine that.

The 80s were the best time to be a kid. We were still "innocent" as a society in many ways.

Awesome music, cartoons, movies. Just a fun decade to live through.

I could never tire of 80s stuff.

"Teen movies" as a genre doesn't really exist anymore(especially "raunchy" teen movies). Today it refers to slick Disney Channel crap.

I think another thing that made all those teen movies so awesome in the 80s was that we weren't teens yet.

So watching those you just thought that being a teenager was gonna be the coolest time ever.

Meatballs, Porky's, Private School. Movies that were aimed at older teens, but featured lots of boobs.
