Sounds like a good time to ride like a king to a beautiful country on the cheap.

It seems like a great bargain to me. The airline wasn't known for regularly slamming their customers into the ground at several hundred miles per hour. Two unfortunate events happened to tarnish them. Make no mistake that they've tightened things down and are keeping their eye on security.

I'm pretty sure they're no longer flying narrow corridors between fighting countries and they're vetting their pilots better.

It seems like the perfect airline to fly. They've got to prove they're safe and they can't charge high fares as they're recovering.

My dad had that flight path that was shot down by the Russians a week later, and he cancelled his meeting in Malaysia because of it.

Well if it's priced the same as other airlines I'd be all about it. Quick boarding, possible upgrade, likely sitting in a row to myself. Hell ya.

That's not funny at all. That's a major airline that will have its routes fall to fricking American Airlines or United now and suck fat cock.

They were actually a really respected airline.

This.

International routes operated by U.S. based airlines are horrible with shitty seats, shitty food, ugly flight attendants and just overall bad service. This country has some really bad airlines. Foreign airlines are the tits.

Are people really that fricking stupid or pussy to be afraid to fly a certain airline?

As far as I am concerned it's like going where lightning has already struck...2x in a row. You're good to go now they already got through their freak-disaster quota.

If they were offering $500 international tickets trying to get business I'd be all over it. Not that absurd either as I've seen Turkish Air do that price for IAD to IST RT

Only thing I didn't like was they don't update you like US pilots do. We veered off course 90 degrees for over an hour, I assumed it was to dodge some weather but still was a bit concerened but no one else seemed to give a shite.

Eta: mind you we weren't off course for an hour, it was an hour before we changed directions to get us back on course.

I live in Malaysia. I fly MAS alllll the time. In fact I flew with them yesterday KL to BKK and will be flying again with them today. They are not a bad airline and if people don't want to fly with them that's their choice. Less hassle for me.

I once went on a trans-Atlantic flight with American Airlines. I'm pretty sure none of their international planes are newer than 1979. Tiny TVs in the aisle ceiling that were either did colored or nonfunctional, low-power D/C outlets, just horribly outdated everything. Both there and back.

Those look like SingAir girls. Big freaking difference between SingAir and MA. SingAir is probably the best airline Ive ever flown with. The attendants are all gorgeous and super nice.

Yes. Literally all they need to do is change the name of the airline and they'll be good. Your average dumbass wouldn't tell the difference.
