ok, "he was just wielding a gun in public and wouldn't respond to police commands"
not much better

What was the racial makeup of the grand jury?
Are people calling for the dispatcher to get fired?

We saw what happened when the community came forward in the Michael Brown case...most of them lied
Ok. Eye witnesses lie or get confused. That's fair, but the only proven liars in this case are the police that did the shooting, as demonstrated by video footage and a passing FBI agent.

I had to google each one of these. While some of them I had read about previously I did not recognize any of them immediately by name alone.

I am. But that doesn't really matter. I would be surprised if any of these officers are retained by the department. In six months or so, they will be quietly ushered out the door.

Maybe the family should sue the dispatcher...if the dispatcher had relayed all the info of the witness maybe the cops wouldn't have been over zealous thinking a guy with a real gun was intimidating people at a park. I also wonder if they are trained to treat any gun call as being real...I would tend to think they would err on the side of caution.
The police lied but does it change the shooting?

bullshite. Your hypothetical is self-serving and incomplete.

What emotion are you referring to? I've already said I don't think they should be charged with murder.

OK - I have one. Tamir Rice. He was not a "shady POS". And any insinuation on your part that he was is shameful.

which big scrub response will be used?

Making a gun look real, then carrying it out in public isn't shady?
Oh man...

I'll say it again, black cops should be the only ones dealing with black citizens.
That'd end a bunch of this

But then there would be no reason to loot and riot

I did not think this place could get more fricked up. The number of people insinuating "good riddance" about a 12 year old being shot and killed is very disturbing.
Posted on 12/28/15 at 4:22 pm to Iron Lion
I'm not saying "good riddance"
I'm saying the cop was justified in fearing for his life. He didn't say "you know what, I feel like shooting a black kid today" as the BLM would have you believe

"Making" it look real? As in, we don't know if the little orange thing broke off or not accidentally? We just immediately jump to "shady POS"?

What police commands did he not follow? Police just rolled up and shot.

Why was Tamir shady? Did he just strong arm a clerk for a cigarillo?

and if he was white the white community wouldn't threaten civil unrest
Link of these threats?

Lots of stupid people on TD.
What we know is the cops lied. Any shady characters in this case were wearing uniforms.
No one was threatened, Rice wasn't warned. He was a kid doing what kids have done for years
