Ok there's a lot of people with German last names and German ancestry. I'm one of them. I'm not German though and neither are they.

in your opinion. what makes Creole special is its base in Cajun heritage. Otherwise, it'd be some bizarre twist of French/Caribbean culinary soup. Deal with it.

I was born and raised in NOLA, but I'll probably never move back. Too many opportunities elsewhere. NOLA natives have a little trouble comprehending that however.

There's was no place on earth is rather be circa 1999 than Madigans. Which is sorta sad

More so when I lived in the Warehouse District, but I take visitors from more sterile places such as Charlotte and Virginia Beach down there quite a lot... and they are all in AWE of New Orleans. It's beyond unique... it's fantastic.
