I always make a cake right when they move in. Then invite them over after they get settled.

I don't like the whole getting a gift for new neighbor thing. It seems like if you get them a gift you have the "upper hand" and vice versa. I think the best thing to do is introduce yourself & family and let them know if they need anything let you know.

Nothing breaks the ice like a vintage syringe kit.

Please Note: These are not intended for modern use. They are antique collectibles and should be handled with care.

Tell that you'll be moving soon then apologize for not having time to spend with them.

Well, the wife loves rooting for Vanderbilt football. It's kinda funny as the guy isn't into sports. He went to Cal Tech and MIT respectively. Would LSU vs Wisconsin be a good introduction to football?

Start a band and practice in the garage at night or buy a 2-stroke dirt bike and rev it up on Saturday mornings. If he's cool, he'll come hang out

Bringing them some cookies or some wine is a nice gesture and it goes a long way. First, you find out if they are normal people. Well that is actually it. You just find out if they are normal people

This.
Just be nice and try to introduce yourself to them. Maybe they end up being good folks and ya'll have dinner. On the flip side, you don't want to get some redneck dumbass and his fat arse wife over to your house for an uncomfortable dinner.

Well, you can scratch the cookies and dinner. They're probably vegan or at least gluten free. They may have weed, so that might be a plus.

Go over and ask them if they've started to hear the strange voices in the middle of the night, or the lights blinking on and off for no reason, or the doors opening and slamming themselves shut, or the water faucets turning themselves on and off.

When he asks what's that all about, tell him , "oh oh, I shouldn't have said anything". And give a creepy smile and walk away.

Yes. Nerds who aren't into sports are the easiest to manipulate. You'll be getting him to lie for you and support your coke habit in no time.

Nice find.

No. Inform them that the orgies happen every 3rd Thursday of the month.

Go to his place and ask if he has personal liability insurance. When he says yes, trip and fall. Win.
