It has rifling on it. It had to have been fired (unless the Mob was just smart enough to add rifling but too stupid to add anything else). If you expect it to be highly deformed based on impact, it would have been highly deformed whether it hit the president or something else entirely.

Either that, or bullets don’t just always deform and sometimes that might maintain their cylindrical shape?

A Nobel Prize Winning physicist, Luis Alvarez, tested this on a watermelon using the same rifle and determined that a backwards head jerk was totally consistent with a shot from the back.

Edit: Because the exit hole is invariably larger than the entry hole, the evacuation of all that brain matter (or watermelon innards) causes a “jet effect” that causes the head to jerk in the opposite direction of the exit wound.

I have one if these rifles. I will try it out on a watermelon and report back.

The thing that confuses me about the bullets is that the "magic" bullet which went through Kennedy's neck, into and out of both Connelly's body and his wrist, and then into his thigh (I think) pretty much intact. But supposedly the same FMJ ammo from the same rifle fragmented into a million pieces after passing thorough Kennedy's skull. Doesn't make sense to me at all.

I’m just venturing a guess, but is it really that surprising that a bullet that both entered and exited the cranium (so it hit two bones on its path) disintegrated completely while another bullet that just glanced off of one rib on its path didn’t disintegrate?

(Even the bones of the wrist have got nothing on the thickness of the occipital and frontal bones of the skull.)

You are in serious denial, or you just like to argue but the bullet is nowhere near consistent with a bullet pulled from a body. This picture posted clearly shows that. And the bullet just showed up out of nowhere, found lying on the stretcher next to his body. Someone clearly planted it. That's not even debatable
Why would any conspirator do such a sloppy job and why would a group that settled on Oswald put on display a bullet that so many think proves a conspiracy?

Think about what you are saying though. Look at the autopsy photos. From the TSBD, the exit wound wouldn't be the top side of his head FACING the TSBD, would it?

Dealy Plaza is surrounded with elevated windows on 3 sides. I think the kill shot came from almost directly behind the president.

He got the job at TSBR via his landlady who referred him to the manager of said TSBR. Why has there never been any shred of evidence of either being involved? Both would have to be CIA assets, right?

Don’t look at who hired him to work there, look at who decided the route the motorcade would take.

The parkland doctors all said the throat wound was an entry wound. The autopsy photos also show a bullet in the back, not the neck. How did a bullet coming from the TSBD go into the back and then move up to come out of the throat?

There is an autopsy xray of Kennedy's head with hundreds of fragments, so the bullet had to fragment upon entry. I don't know about the thickness of bones, but it just seems crazy to me that one stays relatively intact, while the other fragments like a bomb.

Last thing I'll add,

at the exact moment JFK was assassinated, AMLASH, a CIA asset involved in Castro assassination attempts and the one closest to proximity Castro, was meeting with the upper echelons of the CIA, including Desmond Fitzgerald. That could be a coincidence. That info was never turned over to the Warren Commission that Dulles was on.

On November 22, 1963, a Cubana airlines flight from Mexico City to Havana was held up for 5 hours until an unidentified passenger arrived in private plane, bypassed customs, and boarded the plane...where he sat in the cockpit.

On November 23, this same person crossed from Texas into Mexico at Nuevo Laredo even though the border was closed because of the assassination. He then flew to Havana on November 27 in a plane where he was the only passenger.

Total coincidences, I'm sure. None of this was turned over to the Warren Commission and the CIA decided conveniently not to pursue those leads even though they came from cIA field office intel.

I don't know about the thickness of bones,

An adult occipital bone (bone on the back of the skull) is an average of 11.5 mm thick.

An adult rib is on average 0.5-2 mm thick.

A wrist bone is somewhere in between.
