A Nobel Prize Winning physicist, Luis Alvarez, tested this on a watermelon using the same rifle and determined that a backwards head jerk was totally consistent with a shot from the back.
Edit: Because the exit hole is invariably larger than the entry hole, the evacuation of all that brain matter (or watermelon innards) causes a “jet effect” that causes the head to jerk in the opposite direction of the exit wound.

So why did he risk missing LHO by stopping at western union less than 10 minutes before he shot him to wire one of his employees some money? And add in that LHO was late being transferred because he asked for a change of clothes? I guess LHO was in on his own murder?
