Great job opportunity for me and can do the job from current location but it will involve more traveling. However, if we move to South Florida or Kentucky, my quality of life, i.e. time at home will be significantly better.

SO is no onboard with a move, friends, family, etc.

Any ideas or negotiating tactics to convince her that move is the best for us and the future?

TIA

Where do you currently live?

Are you married to her? It doesn't sound like it. She most likely is not moving without being married.

It was easy for me. I made 3 times as much. We go where my job goes. Now she has the opportunity to make pretty good money if she gets an upcoming promotion. Will be much harder to make that decision afterwards.

This is the ot.

1. Just open a location in both places
2. Pay someone to run for you while you are still sole proprietor
3. ?????
4. Profit $

Do you have a better opportunity or not? You mentioned two vague locations. Kentucky is a state, not a location. South Florida means lots of different things to different people.

Based on your post, I would assume that you're fricked because you cannot communicate like a normal person. Negotiating with vague concepts of location, "quality of life," and "more" traveling? Thanks for the details.

Is she "the one"? If not, do what's best for you.
