Slightly off topic, this is the first January in 13 years that I don't have a kid doing a Social Studies project. It was okay for about the first 8 years, but the last 5 were torturous.

Needless to say, I am enjoying this January

Test OT ideas, like the efficacy of liquid Cialis, or compare the incidence of AIDS to OT diagnoses of knee injuries, etc.

Yeast plus sugar water with a ballon over the bottles. Different sugar levels for each bottle and chart how big the balloons get. Just don't let him drink it.

I think testing an easy hypothesis with variables is always appropriate for that age. My recommendation is to test the hypothesis that hookers and blow is the best way to spend a set sum of money. I think the variables of hookers only, blow only, or both, and the relative enjoyment of you and your son should be tested to see if the hypothesis that, while less hookers and less blow than purchasing individually, the synergistic effect of both yields the best rate of return dollor for dollar with a fixed amount. We all know the answer, but that age it is applying the scientific method which is the most important.

They have one to test golf balls. You can make a A frame so the hit is the same every time and measure distance of the different ball.
