Need OT Advice with a Roommate

I live in a apartment in Hattiesburg and my roommate just got busted by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics with possession of a controlled substance and intent to distribute. The property manager said that they are just going to throw everything in his room out if no one comes and gets his things. He has a 65" TV, PS4, new Micheal Kors purse and some wrapped presents. Could I just hold his stuff for him and if he comes just give the stuff back or if he does not can I just keep it?

It's student housing. I had no choice on roommates. Is it legal for me just to take it and I'm moving out the 27th after the bowl game.

Well...considering your room mate got busted for intent to distribute. Now among the more interesting items was
Michael Kors purse. I think you can leave that one and the wrapped presents...they're no telling what is in them...and if you were a room mate, you're probably a suspect too.

Nah I was there when the cops broke in. They patted me down and destroyed my room. They let me go and hang out in my room after they questioned me.
