2-3 hours/day is 10-15 class hours.

Assuming it takes say 30 min to get to class and 30 min back (including parking and what not) you're only working. So you lose 1h/day in the car.

You either never sleep or you're full if shite.

I don't understand what's so unbelievable..... That's working a regular job, and 3 nights a week picking up a part time... Not all that unusual

So you work between 70-80 hours a week and go to school full time?

Why do you come in 3 hours early for a "regular 8 to 5" job?

Well, I commend you for working your way through school. There are far too many that have it given to them on a platter and frick it up royally.

My office is 2 miles from school. Takes me about 12 minutes from desk to desk.

Took 9 hours this semester. Which is full time in grad school.

Because they allow me to work around my schedule. I call it an 8-5 because it's my m-f job.

Our schedule for standard employees if 7:30-5 and 7:30-1:30 on Fridays. Would you prefer me refer to it as that?

Someone working 12 hours at a full time job every day, 7 days a week, and attending college full time, is extremely unusual. You have to factor in the time for studying, eating, and sleeping. Then, some social interaction time. Not sure if I know of any person in my life that works 75-80 hours per week, and goes to school full time. I bet you don't either.

Not going to lie, when I was wrapping up all of my maths and physics it was difficult, but it's pretty cake now. I show up, do a little studying at my office and at my home. Whenever you don't have much of a choice, and refuse to turn to student loans, you figure it out.

Fwiw, I work 168 hours/week. But they let me leave at night and on weekends. But it's still 168h/week.

I worked 30 hours/week during school, then full time in summers and didn't go to school, to make enough money to pay my next semester. It was tough as hell doing that, because I found myself doing mostly homework and studying on weekends. But it was worth it because I never borrowed a penny and finished college in 4 years. I couldn't have done 80 hours a week.

But my point to SS, working 80 hours at a job and going full-time to school is not the norm. It's VERY unusual. If it was usual, you would know plenty of people doing it.

ive found that the more I work, the better I do in school. i know, i know, correlation, not causation, but I bet it has to do with spending my study time more efficiently because I don't have as much of it
