The Feds could shut it own under the Supremacy Clause...no suit necessary.
Obama won't.
Will the next president? Likely, esp. if conservative.
Remember all the grief given to California over medical marijuana

the feds and states live as dual sovereigns in this area and have for decades. if the feds want to use the Supremacy Clause, they run the risk of invalidating all state laws on drugs. that would destroy the federal policing and court system

by the time the next president is in office, it will be 4 years. Plus several other states will have it on the ballot in 2016.

Its going to be really hard to put the genie back in the bottle on this one.

I thought the federal government just passed something to decriminalize medical marijuana.. I though it was a state choice thing now

Colorado has given 100,000,000 dollars in tax revenue to their public schools. Marijuana is not going to be illegal there ever again

This is true. It's not going back. Anchorage assembly voted whether or not the city would opt out of commercial pot sales yesterday and they agreed to allow it by an overwhelming majority, and it's the most religious/traditionally conservative part of the State.

Feds will realize it's a losing proposition.
