I want to know more about the guy claiming he got a 99 on the asvab and was a "seaman 3rd class"

Yes, this thread has taken even more wings with this tidbit of info.

I got a 99 on the ASVAB, and if I'd gone in the service, I sure would have picked one hell of a MOS. I wouldn't have been a grunt.

You can on the line score, I had a 102 and those frickers tricked me into going to Nuke School.

If I was at home I'd scan the paperwork and post it. Was back in 1990, right after high school.

Made an 84 when I was in 10th grade. Took it again after graduation on a lark.

Would have been better off joining up, probably, than going to LSU. Who knew they didn't give majors in Bong Hits with minors in Jello shots.

Mine was in 1990 also but I sure as hell didn't save the paperwork. I'm guessing your 99 is the line score.

It wasn't so much that I meant to keep the paperwork, I just never threw it away and found it in my dad's filing cabinet when he passed away.

I rode to the test site with an Army recruiter. He spent the whole ride back from New Orleans stroking my cock, to no avail.

I heard this was coming. I heard it was to allow snowflakes and females ease; by not being referred to as a rate with MAN in it.

I applaud the petition but it won't change anything. Get social engineering out and Obama's Mabus and this BS will all go away.

You should have posted this to the poli board. So many people won't GET this as a big deal. Ignore the ignorant comments.

My nephew said he's an E350 now.

What he used to be identified with looks pretty cool too.

Is E-3 still considered an NCO, or did they fix that shite?

Oddly enough, this guy has the same name as the Nostradamus anti-Christ prophesy...

Supposedly, dude dies and it all goes to shite...and a comet flies by or something something something.

E-3 was never considered an NCO as far as I know. E-4 on the other hand....the Navy considers PO3 to be an NCO rank.

My nephew said this about the way it used to be...

"This was one of my favorite things in the navy, the ability to instantly see a list of names and rates and easily determine what skills were represented."

Yeah, I'm throwing body blows at my sister service...
They used to give E-4 out, making NCOs out of guys with only a couple years in...

Well that will make it easier for Marines like me to know if I'm talking to an NCO or not.

Now they need to do away with shiny rank insignia on enlisted. I NEVER KNOW IF I SHOULD SALUTE OR NOT
