Why you idiots put these threads here instead of the food board (where they are inevitably moved) baffles me.

Sweet potato casserole

I was coming in here to say Sweet Potato Pie.

My family always had pumpkin pie and sweet potato casserole (with marshmallows and pecans) for Thanksgiving, but no sweet potato pie. My mom was a Yankee so maybe that had something to do with it too, as sweet potato pie seems like a Southern dish.

Pho is a good one

I would probably love it, but I just don't want to be bloated for 3 days with a weeks worth of salt and MSG in one meal

Escargot and caviar. Frick that.

Don't be such an uptight and boring rube. Escargot is fricking delicious.

It amazes me how anyone in this state can have the audacity to turn their nose up at any sort of food.

If you are willing to eat cracklin, nutria, or the majority of Soul food, then I don't see how a buttery snail is such a big frickin' hurdle.
