worst injury I every saw in person. This hispanic girl was running down the stairs with a heavy bookbag on. She slipped went to grab a railing and that just deflected her, she went down, and put her hand out and then we all heard "POP" and blood flew everywhere. She had two bones in her arm sticking out the skin with blood just coming out. She looked at it and passed out.

She came back a few days later with a cage around her arm with rods going into her arm.
I have never seen anybody since with a cage and struts to set a bone.
All from falling down the stairs.

Jefferson Parish School board paid her medical.
