Powers on and tumbles, just doesn't blow hot air. What do you OT experts think is the problem?

It's probably just tired of being a drier and is trasitioning into washer.

Reset the breaker.....also check to see if you have 220 volts at outlet.

Even though it powers on, it may only be getting 110 volts.

Could be a couple different parts out, including the timer. I troubleshot mine about 6 months ago replacing a couple different parts, and it turned out to be the timer. Best to unplug it, open the back up, and start testing different parts with a meter. YouTube has some good videos to follow.

Check your vent tube all the way to outside wall. May be jammed with lint and moisture just return to drying bowl.

Is Neapolitan still on these days? I think he fixes these damn things.

Sounds to me the heating element is out or a fuse is bad. I had one stop heating a couple years back and it was a $12 fuse. Guy was in and out in 10 min.

If it's an electric dryer, there's an in-line fuse (behind the back panel) for the heating element that commonly fails. When I went APS to buy one, the dude had a box of about 100 under the counter so he wouldn't have to walk back to the inventory racks.

Make sure the vent hose in the back of the dryer has not disconnected.

Every time that has happened to me it is because the vent tube was clogged with lent. I had to get under the house and pull the whole thing out and clean it.

If its not drying at all, its the heat element. Easy as shite to replace too. You can find one locally for cheap and it takes maybe 15 min to do the work.

Unplug it. Take off the vent hose. Take the back off. Vacuum out all the lint. Figure out how to take the heating element off.

Take pics as before you unhook anything so you can put it back together right.

Inspect the heating element wire coils and look for a break.

If found, just twist those wires back together, make sure no wire is touching other wires and reinstall. You may get a few more months out of it while you go buy a replacement. $40-$150 depending on how fancy it is.

If no break, it could just be 1-3 thermal fuses. Cheap to replace.
