My buddy's dog got attacked by an hawk today.

Let the dog out to piss and a hawk swooped down and grabbed him. Ripped his chest up good and tried to fly away with him. Poor lil fella. He's a 13 year old chihuahua. Happened in Shenandoah. He's ok after surgery.

When my dog was a pup, one night an owl was flying down towards him.. I had to yell and get by my dog so that thing wouldn't pick him up..

There were 4 california condors around our house. Flying then landing right across street. (Rare sighting). The cat was very wary. Looking up over his shoulder.
I asked my daughter, then 5, what do you think they eat. Deer, she guessed. I can only imagine that a little kid realizes she could be dinner.
