My 9 month old daughter is highly offended by the "N Word".

9 months old and everytime she hears the word "nap", "nap time", or "night night", she's immediately triggered. At this age, she doesn't understand much of the English language, but nap and night-night and their variations are definitely words that she comprehends and hates. always thinks she's going to miss out on something if she goes to sleep. Wish she would believe me when I say the only thing that she is gonna be missing out on is hearing daddy snore in his sleep as he naps while she naps
I can't wait until she gets to the age where she embraces naptime, so I'm guessing what, teenage years before that happens FML.

You don't know what parenting is until you have 2 in diapers at the same time.

9 month old twin girls, and a 3 year old boy.
Enjoy your one kid.

My son was the same way. He's a little older now, so he's changed the strategy. When we say night night, he will say it back and lay down with his eyes half closed and fake snore. Little smart arse.

My son gets pissed if he's late for his nap. He'll go grab his blanket from between the crib rails and drag it to the living room and just stare at me

Babies understand way more than people think just because they can't communicate.
It gets better. 2-5 is the best because they can do stuff on their own and are adorable. After that, they slowly turn into assholes.

Tis best to keep all "n" words away from the young until they are old enough to understand the word and consequences.

When mine were little I'd just bury them in my right arm and we'd both go out. It was the best. Kids would wake up smelling like my deodorant though.

I'm proud of your daughter. Too many lazy nappers in this country already.
