It's his humerus bone. Dude is tough. Horseplaying with his brother outside and fell off the swing. I'm a 31 year old "man" and I've cried more than he did.

Waiting to get into Ortho now. Anyone know what kind of recovery process this will be?

He will recover faster than CPS works the case.

probably a splint for a few days until the swelling goes down, then a hard cast for 6-8 weeks. Or that's what my 3 YO had

Kids are tough little frickers. He'll have a cast for a while but it won't slow him down

Yeah. Apparently if he broke the bone a certain way then CPS will grill the shite out of the parents. Homeboy gonna end up in the booty house by the end of the day.

Hardest pain in the world is your childs pain, and when you can't stop it, it's unbearable.

I had to hold my 2 yr old daughter in a burrito while she got 6 stiches in her chin. Her crying was awful and I couldn't stop my own. It was an eye opening experience. Not an ounce of fricking shame about it either.

My 3 year old broke his arm when he was two as well.

He'll get a cast for about 6 weeks and will be fine.

Toddlers are tough as shite.

Typically 6-8 weeks. My kid broke his radius and ulna and he was in a cast for 12 weeks. They were having issues with the bone not setting right so they had to keep cutting the cast and resetting it. They ended up having to sedate him to set it properly the last time, he was good to go after that. He never complained once, just sucked it up and went with the flow.

I'm sorry for your pain. I know exactly what you are feeling. You would do anything to take the pain from them to you. My daughter broke her leg when she was 12. It was a horse accident. He will recover quickly. Good luck.

CPS grilled my wife after my 3 year old fell off the couch and smashed his ear on the coffee table. Damn thing looked he had been hit with a hammer.. since I wasn't there, they asked if I had any reason to believe my wife did something to harm child.. damn near fell out of my chair laughing.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that, I want you to consider one thing though.

Today is my birthday, does that change how you're feeling about the situation at all?
