I can't begin to describe how amazing it was. We searched for 3 1/2 hours last night in "very active" conditions and didn't see anything. On the way back to my cousins house after going to the bars tonight because the conditions were "very minimal" there they were. I felt like a little school girl with how much I freaked out. It is beyond a doubt the most amazing thing I have ever seen. While they weren't even that much it was still incredible. My phone wouldn't focus on them at all so this is the best I can do but it was breathtaking.

I'll upload some more pictures of my trip here in Iceland in the coming posts. It 3:10am and I'm still riding my adrenalin. Not sure if I'll be able to sleep at all.

I think you could've saved money by going to Alaska to see the Northern Lights.

Northern lights. I know the picture isn't the best but it was the best I could get. iPhone just wouldn't focus on them and I don't have a great camera.

Doubt it. I have family here in Iceland and I got two round trip tickets for 552$ combined through WOW airlines. Free place to stay here and extremely cheap tickets. I don't think I could have done it for any cheaper in Alaska.

Yeah and the fact with the wind chill it's around -4 right now. Other than that no reason they were shaking
